David Blight will participate in a conversation on the life of Frederick Douglass with Brent Staples, Author and op-ed columnist for the New York Times editorial board, at the New-York Historical Society on February 13, 2018 at 7:00pm. Just Friends vocal group will also perform at this event. This special celebration honoring the 200th anniversary of the birth of Frederick Douglass is hosted by the New-York Historical Society's Frederick Douglass Council.
